I really have not paid any attention to our family blog in way to long. I'll try to get up to date.
Emily just turned 16. She is a Sophomore at Layton High School and has absolutely no desire to get her driver's license. This is a common occurrence with kids these days. My nephew Tanner who is also 16 is the same way. No clue!!
Em is so fun to be around. She is very kind hearted and loves her sisters. She is my back up mom and I'm not sure what I would do with out her. We just recently found out she is allergic to Eggs, Milk, Corn, and Yeast. Trying to figure out menu's to work around those allergies is almost impossible, but we are bound and determined to make it work.
Madi is 13 and involved in everything. She is an 8th grader at Legacy Jr High. She is currently involved with Davis County Ballroom and loving every minute of it. She has decided she want to do competitions this next year. She is also playing they piano and the viola and singing on the school choir. Kids love her to death. She babysits so much, I think she makes more money than I do.
She recently caught the bouquet at our cousin Rob's wedding. Not sure I'm ready for that one......
She can't wait to get her driver's license. The big joke at our house is that she will get it before Em gets hers. At this rate, it might be true.
Jesi is 10 and a 5th grader at Sand Spring Elementary. She has joined a competition tumbling team with Volonte Tumbling and Cheer. She is very serious about her tumbling and so focused. She recently got 4 back handsprings down. She is amazing. She is very active and loves fruits and vegetables. Her first competition is coming up and she can't wait. She is always teasing and joking with her sisters and dad.
Miss Sami is 4 and in preschool at both Appletree School House and Lollipop and Gumdrops Academy. She can't wait to start Kindergarten in the fall. She is currently taking dance from Encore and just recently starting tumbling with Volonte. She thinks Miss Kelley (dance) and Miss Chelcy (tumbling) are the two greatest people on earth. She has been going to tumbling with us to watch Jesi and usually ends up practicing with the team so we thought it was time for her to do her own classes. She wears her leotard anytime I will let her and asks daily if today is tumbling day. She is one of a very few little girls in our neighborhood so the little boys are all convinced she is going to marry them. She is always out with friends and likes to be referred to as "The Princess". She keeps us all on our toes and continually is coming up with funny things. I can't imagine life with out that one.
Kelly and Mary just keep running and try to keep up with the girls schedules. Some days I'm not sure how we made it through. This May will be our 20 year anniversary. We are planning a cruise to Alaska which has always been a dream of mine. We got Ute season Football tickets this last year and loved going to all the games. Kelly really is my best friend. I can't imagine life without him. I'm still not sure how we got to this stage in our lives so fast. It seems like just yesterday we got married. And now here we are 20 years and 4 kids later. Life has treated us all really well and we are so blessed to have made it this far.
