I really have not paid any attention to our family blog in way to long. I'll try to get up to date.
Emily just turned 16. She is a Sophomore at Layton High School and has absolutely no desire to get her driver's license. This is a common occurrence with kids these days. My nephew Tanner who is also 16 is the same way. No clue!!
Em is so fun to be around. She is very kind hearted and loves her sisters. She is my back up mom and I'm not sure what I would do with out her. We just recently found out she is allergic to Eggs, Milk, Corn, and Yeast. Trying to figure out menu's to work around those allergies is almost impossible, but we are bound and determined to make it work.
Madi is 13 and involved in everything. She is an 8th grader at Legacy Jr High. She is currently involved with Davis County Ballroom and loving every minute of it. She has decided she want to do competitions this next year. She is also playing they piano and the viola and singing on the school choir. Kids love her to death. She babysits so much, I think she makes more money than I do.
She recently caught the bouquet at our cousin Rob's wedding. Not sure I'm ready for that one......
She can't wait to get her driver's license. The big joke at our house is that she will get it before Em gets hers. At this rate, it might be true.
Jesi is 10 and a 5th grader at Sand Spring Elementary. She has joined a competition tumbling team with Volonte Tumbling and Cheer. She is very serious about her tumbling and so focused. She recently got 4 back handsprings down. She is amazing. She is very active and loves fruits and vegetables. Her first competition is coming up and she can't wait. She is always teasing and joking with her sisters and dad.
Miss Sami is 4 and in preschool at both Appletree School House and Lollipop and Gumdrops Academy. She can't wait to start Kindergarten in the fall. She is currently taking dance from Encore and just recently starting tumbling with Volonte. She thinks Miss Kelley (dance) and Miss Chelcy (tumbling) are the two greatest people on earth. She has been going to tumbling with us to watch Jesi and usually ends up practicing with the team so we thought it was time for her to do her own classes. She wears her leotard anytime I will let her and asks daily if today is tumbling day. She is one of a very few little girls in our neighborhood so the little boys are all convinced she is going to marry them. She is always out with friends and likes to be referred to as "The Princess". She keeps us all on our toes and continually is coming up with funny things. I can't imagine life with out that one.
Kelly and Mary just keep running and try to keep up with the girls schedules. Some days I'm not sure how we made it through. This May will be our 20 year anniversary. We are planning a cruise to Alaska which has always been a dream of mine. We got Ute season Football tickets this last year and loved going to all the games. Kelly really is my best friend. I can't imagine life without him. I'm still not sure how we got to this stage in our lives so fast. It seems like just yesterday we got married. And now here we are 20 years and 4 kids later. Life has treated us all really well and we are so blessed to have made it this far.

Warning! This will be a long post since I haven't posted since June.
Here we go!
Sami just loves her bike. She isn't quite tall enough to reach the pedals, so she convinces whoever she can to push her. Jesi is usually the one who gets to do it. What a good sport!
Sami got a Slide for her birthday this year. She thinks this is one of the best things in the world.
Sami found a doughnut. Can you tell that she loved it??
Madi turned 11 this year. She helped make her own cake. She was so proud. She has turned into a little chef. She loves to help her dad cook whatever she can and volunteers quite often to make dinner herself.
For the 24th of July this year we went into the mountains and had a picnic with Kelly's family. We found a small river that the kids could play in.
Mitch had to take a turn too.
We found a ground squirrel that loved potato chips. Sami thought this was the best thing ever. She kept throwing chips to him.
Jesi just loves to spend time with Sami. They will go off and play for hours at a time.Kelly & Emily got these spray guns at girls camp this year. Sami & Jesi kind of stole them. They were so cute. They would spray the water up in the air and wait for it to rain down on them.
How can you not LOVE this little face?
Madi & our cousin Paxton share a bday. So every year we have to get new pictures of the two of them together.
He loves his Madi.
First Day of School.......
Emily is an 8th Grader at Legacy Jr High. She is doing so well. She has all A's and a few B's. She is doing awesome.
Madison is a mighty 6th Grader. The ruler of the school! She is in an advanced 5/6th split class. They had to be nominated by their teachers from last year as well as their end of the level test scores to be able to be in this class. Madi is a math and science wiz. (She did not get this from me! I suck at both.) She is doing wonderful and is loving it.
Jessica is in 3rd grade and has so many friends she doesn't know what to do with them all. She is excelling really well this year.
Madi & Jesi are both playing Soccer this fall and loving it. They are both really good and play hard.
Jesi loves to play keeper.
Of course Sami couldn't be left out. She asks us daily if we can go and play "Soccaball". She loves to go and watch her sisters play and is always kicking a ball. Even if it isn't a soccer ball.
I had to add this picture of Madi & her dad. She hates it but I love it. This is how these two do everything. Always joking and teasing each other.
So that gets us caught up for the moment. Tomorrow I will be behind again! :)

The end of May brought Madi's class program. They do a history program which is pretty cool. They learn to play the recorder and have different parts to sing and speak. Her she is doing her best.
The day after school got out was Miss Jessica's 8th Bday. This just happened to fall on our stake baptism day so she was able to be baptized on her bday. What a special experience for her.
Jesi & Kelly - pre baptism & post baptism.
The whole gang.
After the baptism we had a bbq & bday party with the family.
Jesi with her "3 White Dresses" picture. My mom has given this to each of the girls when they get baptized. It's pretty cool because it has the Logan Temple in the picture too.
Jesi & Allie both turned 8 this year and were baptized just a few weeks apart.
Here they both are in their baptism dresses.
My girls with Drew & Teresa's kids.
Madi & Jesi both started swim lessons this last week. They are taking them from my neighbor Linda Horsley and her son Austin. They are teaching them in their backyard pool so its small and very private. The girls love them. They are both doing really good.
