May 8th Sami turned 2. She was so excited to open presents. What a cutie.
Then that weekend we headed to Idaho for my niece Allie's baptism. What a special day.
Jesi & Allie
After the baptism, we went to the park for a bbq. The kids decided that an ice fight would be fun.
Reese getting ice.
Abby getting hit with ice.
Madi's turn.
Reese and Tanner getting ice.
Tanner had enough. He was out for blood.
He attacked the wrong person. Dave & Tanner.
I think he lost.
The next weekend we headed to St. George with Papa & Grandma Cathy and Dave & Amy and their family. The heat was so nice. I didn't want to come back home. It was cold here.
The girls loved climbing all over Dixie Rock.

Kelly & Sami
Jesi was so scared to go through the crack in the rock. But finally she talked herself into it and did it. She was so excited she went through multiple times...What a girl.
About 15 years ago Kelly carved his name in the rock next to his Great-Great Gpa George Kirkham. The names were still there.
Sami loved the warm weather and being outside.
Jesi found a hole.
Our gang over looking St. George. The temple is just over my left shoulder.
Dave & Amy's gang
My girls over looking the valley.
After our long hike, we visited the St. George Visitors Center.
The girls in front of the fountain outside the temple.
When Sami looked at the temple from this angle, she told me "Jesus house. Jesus gone." Wow. How perspective for a 2 year old.
Later that night, the girls & Kelly went swimming at the hotel pool. (I forgot my suit)
Sami loved the water. She is a fish.
The next day we went to Kolob Reservoir. This is in the mountains above Cedar City. The girls thought playing in the muddy water was almost as fun as the swimming pool. What clowns.
Sami & I playing near the water. She wouldn't put her feet in.
After leaving Kolob, we headed west of Cedar City to watch the eclipse. It was awesome. Here is the progression of it. WOW!
Pretty cool.
