Meatloaf

Today Kelly asked Madi & Jesi if they wanted to help make dinner. They told him yes but they wanted to make it themselves. So he decided to teach them how to make meatloaf. They loved it. They got down and mixed the meat in the bowl without complaining. The only problem was Jesi being really concerned that she was playing with "Buckets the Cow". (My uncle raised a cow for us a year ago and the girls named him buckets.) So Madi proceeded to tell her that when cows get old they have to be shot so that they can go into your freezer. The don't just die they have to be shot. It was the funniest conversation I have heard in a long time.

Also, I want to thanks Tiffani & Emily for their blogs the last few days. You guys really made me realize that I too am spending way to much time on things for other people and not enough time with my family. They really have been getting the brunt of it all by missing out on their mother and wife. So thank you so much for putting my life into perspective and telling me too to slow it down.
